NEW YORK – In a recent press release, NFL Cheerleaders have announced they will be protesting during the 2019 season. The protest is being called the Anthem II and the women have decided they will be showing less cleavage during the singing of the National Anthem before each game.
Siouxie Cherokee, spokeswoman for the union, said, “There are really a lot of things happening socially right now. A lot of marches. A lot of things on Twitter and even Snapchat where people are expressing opinions. We want to be part of something important. Since we’re public figures, we thought it was important that our voices be heard too.”
While Cherokee does not have a Twitter or Snapchat account, she does have nearly 5,200 followers on Instagram. What exactly they are protesting is uncertain.
